ZOLVTEK RBE (Rubberized Bitumen Emulsion Protective Coating) is a cold applied, highly rubberized, polymer modified liquid blend of selected Bitumens emulsified with water to give an easily applied protective coating. ZOLVTEK RBE is dark in color which dries to form a tough black, flexible damp proof and vapor proof membrane with excellent adhesion to most substrate. ZOLVTEK RBE acts as a damp-proof membrane and vapor seal for concrete and masonry. It can also be used as a protective coating for concrete below ground or asbestos cement, roofing felt, mastic Bitumen and corrugated iron as a water and moisture barrier. It is most effective when cracks are expected in the surface. ZOLVTEK RBE is also applied on tanking and waterproofing structures to provide an impervious waterproofing membrane. On floors it provides a sandwich membrane during construction of surface treatment. ZOLVTEK RBE is also used as foundation protective coating and curing membrane. It is especially formulated for corrosion protection and waterproofing of substrate including metals.
